Our Story
Established in 2014, our 5 acre vineyard was almost planted by accident.
Shortly after 3,500 vines were planted in the Spring of that year, we were offered an exciting opportunity not to be missed! Wine & food enthusiasts ourselves, we wondered how hard could it really be to run a vineyard? …
Throwing ourselves in at the deep end is the only way to describe it, with us both maintaining full-time jobs, the vineyard was nothing more than a ‘glamorous’ hobby in the eyes of our family and friends. This was far from reality and it didn’t take long for the blood, sweat and tears to set in as we found ourselves working all hours during our free time, in all weathers throughout the year. Yes it never seemed to stop!
In 2016 alongside producing our first harvest, we welcomed Dexter into the world and by 2020 we became a family of 3 with Harry and Francesca. From tractor riding, mud rolling, picnics and country walks, having our little helpers in the vineyard means that it’s a real family affair.
Reality set in that there was no going back and we couldn’t be prouder of what we have learnt and achieved since embarking on this journey.
We find ourselves incredibly fortunate to have already met and collaborated with some seriously talented people across the wine & viticulture scene, all of whom have invested themselves into educating us, consulting on our behalves and helping to produce our fine English wines. We wouldn’t be where we are now without such immense support!
We have designed our approach to be reflective of our personalities; introducing a dynamic, vibrant, experimental and contemporary twist and encourage you to join us on this journey.
