Our Wines

At Breezy Ridge we grow four main German grape varieties; these include white Seyval Blanc, Solaris and Muscaris grapes and a red Cabernet Cortis. These varieties set us apart from many other traditional English vineyards who typically grow vines originating from France.

We follow low intervention practices and work on organic principles both in the vineyard and through to wine production. Our name Breezy Ridge is derived from our elevated position; we see an all year round westerly breeze that helps to eliminate risk of disease and damage to the vines.

Once the grapes are harvested in early autumn, the fruit is transported to our winemaker Daniel Ham for production. The fruit is immediately pressed, before moving to tank and barrels. The versatility of our grapes has enabled us to experiment with both traditional and acestrale wine making methods to create a collection of unique sparkling wine.

To date we have produced several vintages of traditional method English Sparkling wines, a rosé classic cuvée alongside a natural Pet Nat and Col Fondo.
